1. What is a webring?
A webring is a system of grouping sites with a similar theme together in a "ring". Links on each site in the ring allow you to move from one site to the next, allowing one to (eventually) traverse the entire ring and end up where they started. What a great idea, huh? *This is the first, original, and only world government webring! It was started by World Government Awareness Campaign on March 23, 1998. Help increase traffic to your site and join today!
2.How can I join?
1)First, you need to have a world government related site. If
it has anything to do with world government, your site is a possible candidate.
If you have been e-mailed by WGAC, then you are a definite candidate.
2)Next, click here
to fill out a submission form. Make sure that you fill out the site
title, URL, a description, and e-mail address, correctly. After submitting
this form, you will be added to the Queue and assigned a Site ID.
The Queue is a sort of waiting area for sites that want to join the ring
but haven't been approved yet. A Site ID is simply a number
that uniquely identifies a particular site in the web ring. Site IDs start
at 1 and go up from there. Site ID's never change. They also have
absolutely nothing to do with the "order" that sites are arranged in the
ring. Their sole purpose is to uniquely identify sites in the Webring database.
DO NOT FORGET YOU SITE ID (and password!!!) WRITE THEM DOWN AND KEEP
THEM IN A SAFE PLACE!!!
3)Third, the html code that is in the following box NEEDS to be pasted
anywhere in the first page of you site. This code is what makes the
webring work After you correctly put the html code in your site, you will
be officially added to the WORLD GOVERNMENT WEBRING!!!
*VERY IMPORTANT NOTES
Where it says SITE_OWNER_EMAIL, you need to put YOUR e-mail address.
Where it says Your_Name_Here, you need to put YOUR name. (This
can be your real name or nickname.)
Where it says _SITE_ID_HERE_, you need to put YOUR site id.
