Right now, "world government" is the general idea to replace all of
the current governments of the world with one government. Many see a world
government as an answer to many of the world's problems. The idea of a
world government has a unique history and has raised many points of debate
over the cultural, economical, and political influences a world government
would have on the world. There are many different proposals on how a world
government should be run. The issues and ideas brought up in this presentation
come from a variety of sources and are not meant to express support or
disagreement with a particular proposal. It is also important to note that
only a sampling of the MANY various ideas that have been proposed
in the past and present are presented here. This presentation will address
four aspects of a world government - history, culture, economics, and politics.
